Phil wanted a short break from the snow, so he went down to LA. After
hours of begging, Emily and Jessica took him out to sushi and then to
the LA fish market to buy Christmas presents for his family.

What are all these weird words? Finnish. Get used to it, it'll probably be the language everyone's speaking in a couple years.
Here's what some of them mean:
Joulu - Christmas
Joulupukki - (lit. Christmas Goat) Santa Claus
Joulupukkin Vaimo- Santa Claus' Wife
Korvatunturi- (lit. Ear Fell) The home of Joulupukki upon a fell close to the Russian border where it is rumored that Joulupukki can hear all the whispered wishes of every child in the world.
Tonttu- The elves that happily live and work at Korvatunturi
