On the 21st day, Phil realized he was going in circles. He could not
get closer to the mountain he thought was the home to Korvatunturi. So
he abandoned the search.

What are all these weird words? Finnish. Get used to it, it'll probably be the language everyone's speaking in a couple years.
Here's what some of them mean:
Joulu - Christmas
Joulupukki - (lit. Christmas Goat) Santa Claus
Joulupukkin Vaimo- Santa Claus' Wife
Korvatunturi- (lit. Ear Fell) The home of Joulupukki upon a fell close to the Russian border where it is rumored that Joulupukki can hear all the whispered wishes of every child in the world.
Tonttu- The elves that happily live and work at Korvatunturi
